The 2000 U.S. Census has spawned a blizzard of news that has overshadowed a crucial milestone for people of mixed race. This should be a big deal to all mixed race people. However, Kip is the only mixing race people in the entire family, so his family probably didn't even notice the check mark. I do know how does it feel to be the only mixing race people in the family, which you do not look like either your father, mother or your silbings. I want to know how difficult it is to hold the Hapa identity in your family while none of your familys really know about the feeling to be a multiracial person.
