100th Year Anniversary in Argentina

Hi JANM!
I am a New York nissei living in Buenos Aires now.
Argentina is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Okinawan immigration this year and there are a lot of festivities planned.
Are there any plans for Nikkeis in US to be part of this? The organization that is heading the celebrations, COA, is seeking spanish/english bilinguals to help with the festivities so I was just wondering. http://www.okiren.org.ar/
Please feel free to contact me if anyone is interested in coming here!

In 2006, over 4,900 people from around the world attended the 4th Worldwide Uchinanchu Taikai Festival in Okinawa to reconnect with their heritage and culture. The Center for Migration Studies at the University of the Ryukyus surveyed these participants and will present their findings revealing how Okinawans connect beyond the island borders.
