 <description>&lt;p&gt;Another building that played a big part in the history of Japanese Americans has been lost. This time, it is a building that was used as the Hori Midwifery in San Jose&#039;s Japantown. The bungalow was originally constructed in 1905 and was used over time for many different uses within the community. While operating as a midwifery, it was the birthplace for many Nisei.&lt;/p&gt;
