It caught my eye because I had kind of heard about this a while back. My family belonged/belongs(?) to the Betsuin, but since we only go for funerals and memorial services, I didn't realize anything was wrong until one of my uncles passed away. I thought it was strange that the funeral was at Nishi Hongwanji.
