 <description>&lt;p&gt;Joyce Koshi Feiss of Washington state submitted an essay posthumously on behalf of her father, George M. Koshi, who died in February 2004.  His significant accomplishments included the defense of Class B War Crimes Trials prisoners, as well as working on the reform of the legal and judicial system of Japan. &lt;/p&gt;
