 <description>&lt;p&gt;During the early stages of the Occupation, Harry Fukuhara of California served as personal interpreter for Major General Clarkson, as well as supervising many Nisei linguist soldiers.  On his second tour of Japan, which lasted for seven years and encompassed most of the Military Occupation period, he was assigned to the 441st Counter Intelligence Group.&lt;/p&gt;
