Black and white silent amateur films by Dave Tatsuno (1913-2006), a businessman in the San Francisco Bay area. Tatsuno's films, before 1942 and the forced exclusion of World War II, generally show family outings, sporting events, holidays, celebrations, and the family business.

This segment, from ca. 1937, shows a visit by the Tatsuno family to the Yoshifuji ranch near Pescadero, California; dogs; farm and ranchland, farm buildings and equipment; a farmhouse; a car; a horse; chickens; five girls sitting on porch steps with two women (one holds a white puppy), a man, Shojiro Tatsuno wearing a hat, Masateru ("Tut") Tatsuno, and another young man; Dave Tatsuno with his arm over the young man's shoulder; a begging dog; Tut shakes a German Shepherd's paw; an unidentified man wearing a hat; an unidentified young woman wearing glasses; the group, seated along the porch; individuals in the group (01:38).
