Glenn Kumekawa (Rhode Island)

Part of the Internment story is the "salvaging" of some 4,500 college-aged students from the camps and relocated them in the east coast and the midwest colleges. The Council of Academics and Religious Leaders in three short years successfully helped these students by the: The National Japanese American Student Relocation Council.
