Yukikazu Nagashima
Nació en la ciudad de Chiba y en 1979 se traslada (emigra) a los Estados Unidos. Trabajó en el periódico Kashu Mainichi y en 1984 ingresa a otro medio Rafu Shimpo. Y desde 1991 se desempeño como Jefe de Redacción de la edición en japonés. En agosto de 2007 se retira. Sigue con sus trabajos de investigación sobre los japoneses y nikkei que viven en el exterior y escribe columnas para TV Fan y Shin Shokurin.

The Japanese American National Museum will host a tanabata ornament-making workshop on June 20, 2009.
