  festival! This summer festival is a celebration of Japanese religion\, cu
 lture\, and ancestry through food\, song\, and dance. Come and experience 
 a unique blend of Japanese\, Hawaiian\, and American cultures found only o
 n the islands!\n\nRev. Enjo Ito rented a room of Yamagata Hotel and starte
 d  missionary work in 1902. The same year\, he built a temple and a Japane
 se  school. This was the beginning of Kurtistown Jodo Mission known at tha
 t  time as <em>Olaa Bukkyo Kaido</em> . Kurtistown Jodo Mission is located
  on the foot of Kilauea Volcano\, looking down towards the city of Hilo.\n
