DESCRIPTION:Celebrating the 90th birthdays of the Japanese Hall &amp\; Japa
 n/Canada Relations!\nIn partnership with the Vancouver Heritage Foundation
 \, the Nikkei National Museum\, Landscapes of Injustice\, Tonari Gumi\, Ch
 ocolate Arts\, and the Consulate of Japan\, the Vancouver Japanese Langua
 ge School &amp\; Japanese Hall (VJLS-JH) will be launching Walking Tours 
 of Historic Powell Street on every 2nd and 4th Sat of the month from Sat. 
 May 26 until the end of September.   Beginning with a building tour of o
 ur 1928 Heritage Building (now Children's World Childcare Centre)\, explor
 e and reimagine the Pre-war Japanese Canadian neighbourhood along Powell S
 treet led by volunteer tour guides.\n\nThis is a fundraising project to ra
 ise funds for the Teacher Resource cluster to create dynamic digital creat
 ive for the teacher lesson plans.\n\nPlease send out the invitation to all
  your family and friends to support LOI to make amazing educational teachi
 ng materials and to experience the early immigrant history of Vancouver. 
   \n\nAdults:   $15.   Students 18 &amp\; under free of charge.
