DESCRIPTION:From April 25th -May 2rd\, 2013\, the 14th annual Newport Beach
  Film Festival will showcase over 300 films from across the globe and host
  a wide array of multicultural events. Celebrated as Orange County&rsquo\;
 s premiere film event\, the Newport Beach Film Festival attracts over 52\,
 000 attendees from around the world who come together to experience the ul
 timate cinematic experience along the pristine coastline of Southern Calif
 ornia.\n \n Each year the Festival hosts nightly International Spotlight e
 vents at Fashion Island. The Asian Showcase will pay homage to the film in
 dustry and celebrate the extensive Asian history and culture whose influen
 ce has inspired many aspects of art across all mediums. The evening will f
 eature three film screenings\, followed by a gala celebration of Asian fil
 m\, food and culture. In 2013 the Festival will spotlight Republic of Kore
 a\, the Peoples Republic of China\, and Japan. We will toast the evening a
 way with a diverse crowd of filmmakers\, actors\, and film aficionados. \n
