Living conditions
We slept in trucks, houses, foxholes as circumstances changed. We bathed from steel helmets or in showers during prolonged breaks. Meals were C and K Rations, 10 in l Rations and hot meals. Card-playing was most frequent form of entertainment, plus the occasional U.S.O. show.

I gained self-confidence and learned the need to work together.
