Korea: Large tents to vacant houses or buildings. Field showers were available. Occasionally used old Japanese type "furo". Meals consisted mostly of "C-rations" but occasionally cooked rice. When beer rations were available, two guys with ukuleles made Hawaiian music to flow. Vietnam: Prefab aluminum huts were available for quarters. Showering facilities were available. We had hot meals daily at a dining hall. Entertainment: movies.
Missed most whilst in the military
Separation from family during short tour assignments.
Most important thing, personally, to come from military experience?
