ウェブサイト「In the Shadow of My Country -祖国の影で-日系アメリカ人アーティストの追憶(www.densho.org/shadow)とこの教師用リソース・ガイドは、米日財団の寛大な助成金によって可能となった。このプロジェクトは、ワシントン州アート・コミッションとナショナル・エンドーメント・フォー・ザ・アーツから補助金を受けている。

モニカ・ソネ著、「日系二世の娘」からの抜粋「ハーモニー収容所での生活」は、著者の許可を得て転載された。1953年にリトル・ブラウン・アンド・カンパニーより初版が出版され、1979年にワシントン大学プレスによって再版された。

このプロジェクトは、ダグ・セルウインとポーラ・フレイザーが教育コンサルタントを担当した。
