La Asociación Peruano Japonesa de Cañete acoge todos los años a la colectividad peruano japonesa de Lima que viaja para dar sus respetos a los antepasados por motivo del Obon. En Cañete, situada a 140 kilometros de Lima, se encuentran dos cementerios en los que yacen los restos de los primeros inmigrantes japoneses al Perú. La foto fue tomada en el Cementerio General de Cañete el 10 de agosto del 2008.
