The photo was taken at the Discover Nikkei booth in the Community Marketplace on Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency, Denver.

Masako Ebisuzaki comments:

Great conference and renewed old friendship. Former Jerome and GIla camp attendee--from Hawaii. Father Kinzaemon Odachi, Tenrikyo Shinto minister. Died in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Never got to return to Hilo, Hawaii. Ashes were returned to Hilo and buried in Hilo, Hawaii.
Retired R.N.

Elizabeth Ebisuzaki comments:

Growing up as a sansei, it was a very insightful look into what the generation before me, including my mom (interned) had to endure.
