Jennifer Chikuma (left) and Scott Chikuma (right) (Arvada, Colorado) participants at the "Whose America? Who's American? Diversity, Civil Liberties, and Social Justice" National Conference in Denver, Colorado presented by the Japanese American National Museum.
The photo was taken at the Discover Nikkei booth in the Community Marketplace on Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency, Denver.
Jennifer Chikuma comments:
This conference is important because it teaches people about Japanese culture.
Scott Chikuma comments:
Being involved in the community has always been a big deal to me. The Japanese community has always been very close together. So to keep the community together should be a priority of the younger generations.
