Paul H. Takemoto, a participant at the "Whose America? Who's American? Diversity, Civil Liberties, and Social Justice" National Conference in Denver, Colorado presented by the Japanese American National Museum.

The photo was taken at the Discover Nikkei booth in the Community Marketplace on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency, Denver.

Participants of the Discover Nikkei photo activity were asked to write their thoughts about the conference or share a memory related to WWII.

Paul Takemoto's comments:

"It's hard to put into words how important this event is to me. I was at the last conference in Arkansas and it was one of the most meaningful weekends of my life. I'm here with my mom, daughter, aunts, cousins and uncle, and we all feel indebted to the JANM for all you've done."
