Black and white silent amateur films by Dave Tatsuno (1913-2006), a businessman in the San Francisco Bay area. Tatsuno's films, before 1942 and the forced exclusion of World War II, generally show family outings, sporting events, holidays, celebrations, and the family business.

This segment, from 1939, shows the inauguration of San Francisco's Transbay Terminal at First and Mission Streets; street and tram traffic at the new terminal; dignitaries address the crowds from a flag-draped stage; an American flag is raised; bird's-eye view of the huge crowds assembled; the San Francisco Ferry Building (01:49).
