This is from the Japanese Garden at the Washington Arboretum. It was taken on July 11, 2007. The photo shows the Azumaya that provides a covered resting area and a view that looks down towards the lake, but also the orchard of sakura trees.

I also took photos of a wooden bench inside the Azumaya and a close-up of underneath the roof.

The garden's brochure describes this section of the garden as:

"Above the western shore of the lake is the cherry orchard with its traditional Azumaya, a shelter from which to enjoy the Garden and the borrowed scenery shakkei of the Arboretum beyond."
