メキシコ: 『海外事情写真帳』(1931)より


『御即位御大典記念-海外事情写真帳』(関門高等洋裁女学校、1931)から抜粋したメキシコへの移民の写真コレクションです。 これらの写真から当時のメキシコへの移民について、その一部を見ることができると思う。 原本に掲載されていた写真は、どれも興味深い写真ではあったが、特に個人的に興味を持ったものを抜粋し、スキャンして紹介することにした。 写真をクリックすることで、オリジナルの写真のページにジャンプするが、そこでは各写真に添付されていた説明文のトランスクリプトを見ることができる。 また、『海外事情写真帳』は昭和天皇即位を記念し。1931年に発行されたものである。 編者である佐村福槌氏が、メキシコに滞在中に写真集出版を思いつき、写真を集めたとのこと。 また、この写真帳には、メキシコの他にも、ペルー・北米(アメリカ・カナダ)が含まれており、徐々に他の国の写真についても掲載していく予定である。
