壁画に描かれている「JAPON」の文字

疫病がはやった際に、まじないの意味をかねて石灰で塗りつぶされており、1959年になって上塗りの石灰を取り除いたときに、この壁画は発見された。

壁画自体は18世紀の前半に描かれたといわれている。
