Mary Mieko Sunada

I am Mary Mieko Sunada. My parents were Yoneto Nakata and Yaeko Niikura. My father who passed away when I was six months old named me. He wanted me to have an American name to fit better into society. I was named after an American silent star Mary Pickford. My middle name had to be Japanese to remind me of my Japanese heritage. My last name is the most important because it tells me my familly history. Who is Mary Mieko Nakata?
