Original Owners of Rafu Bussan Inc.

Original owner Yukio Tanaka (right) is standing next to Kiyoshi "Skip" Kawaratani, who had purchased a share of Rafu Bussan Inc. Together the two would work in partnership over importing goods from Japan to supply to the local families. Also, their business included exporting American goods of coffee and chocolate to the likes of the curious Japanese. This partnership would last for eight years until 1966, when Skip Kawaratani would buy out the whole business and continue to manage it with his wife Aiko.
