Food first...

After we arrived in D.C., one of the first things we did after checking in to the hotel was go eat. We found this place called Teaism, an interesting tea restaurant that had really good ginger scones.

It was a very interesting place. We ordered our food at the counter, then ate at a table downstairs (they also had some limited upstairs seating). The downstairs space had a small koi pool. The fish weren’t too large.

This trip was before I started documenting my food via photos, so all I have is this photo of the koi from the restaurant.
