Richard Miyazato, MHA, is the Director and Founder of Carelife, a Japanese American Home Care Company that provides caregivers for older adults throughout Los Angeles County and Orange County to help with driving, cooking, cleaning, exercise, medication reminders, walking, bathing, dressing, and more. Richard, along with Carelife’s Dr. Joon Park, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Neurologic Certified Specialist (NCS), created, “Moving with CaregiversTM,” a home exercise program series that offers a variety of general exercises for older adults that can be performed safely at home, including exercises for bed bound patients, semi-ambulatory patients and those with Parkinson’s Disease and other Neurological Conditions.
