Basima El Hasan hails from Southern California and is a Communications Volunteer for the American Red Cross of Orange County.  She enjoys writing blogs for the Desert to Sea Region about everyday heroes who exemplify the spirit of the Red Cross with the hope of inspiring others.  She is a wife and mother of three and currently resides in Laguna Niguel, CA with her family.
