 L's National Youth/Student Council (NY/SC) invites college students and yo
 ung professionals to join them for a&nbsp\;<strong>Youth Leadership Summit
 </strong>&nbsp\;in Chicago on&nbsp\;<strong>November 5 and 6</strong>.&nbs
 p\;&nbsp\;The Youth Leadership Summit program of the NY/SC aims to build a
  network of&nbsp\;JACL&nbsp\;youth leaders who understand local\, regional
  and national Asian Pacific American issues\, and have the skills necessar
 y to become effective advocates for their community.&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n
 The Chicago Summit will focus on connecting youth in the Midwest District 
 to each other and toJACL&nbsp\;on a national level. Workshops will discuss
  the nature of Japanese American identity as the foundation for community 
 activism. Participants will examine the nature of privilege and oppression
 \, and the legacy of the Japanese American community as a way to connect w
 ith the larger APA community. Participants will also go through a "JACL&nb
 sp\;101" in order to become more comfortable with the various levlels of t
 he&nbsp\;JACL&nbsp\;and the ways in which they can get involved.\n\n&nbsp\
 ;\n\nThe summit is&nbsp\;<strong>free</strong>&nbsp\;to all attendees\, th
 anks to the support of State Farm and Southwest Airlines. &nbsp\;If you or
