DESCRIPTION:The Chicago Chapter of Ohara Ikebana School announced that the 
 9th North America Ohara Teachers Association (NAOTA) Conference will be he
 ld October 25-29\, 2010 in City of Chicago.\n\nThis is the first time the 
 Chicago Chapter has been selected to host the conference. The 9th NAOTA co
 nference will take place October 25-29 at the Congress Plaza Hotel in down
 town Chicago. Headmaster Hiroki Ohara and Chief Executive Officer Wakako O
 hara will be in attendance with Professor Kuniaki Seki and Assistant Profe
 ssor Akihiro Nishi who will conduct 6 sessions of workshop and one demonst
 ration with 10 arrangements including Ohara signature styles: Moribana (La
 ndscape and Color Scheme)\, Rimpa\, Hana-mai\, Bunjin\, and Hana-isho. Sea
 sonal arrangements such as Fall Colors theme will also be displayed.\n\nIk
 ebana\, Japanese flower arrangement\, is one of the Japanese traditional a
 rts\, which has been practiced for hundreds of years. Among 3\,000 Ikebana
  schools in Japan\, the Ohara School of Ikebana has more than 115 years of
  history and is one of the three major Ikebana schools in Japan. The Ohara
  School expands its activities not only in Japan but through out the world
  and claims more than 1\,000\,000 students worldwide. The Ohara School emp
 hasizes seasonal qualities\, natural growth processes\, and the beauty of 
 natural environments.\n\nIkebana Demonstration is an event open to the pub
 lic on Friday\, October 29\, 2010. The Demonstration will start at 5:30 pm
  and will be followed by a cocktail party and Sayonara Banquet. For detail
