Puna Hongwanji obon is around the corner! Come to eat good food, listen to the taiko drummers, and join the bon dance. Experience this Japanse summer tradition, a festival honoring the ancestors who have come before us. Fun for the whole family, so don't forget to bring the kids!

Puna Hongwanji is a Shin (Pure Land) Buddhist temple. It was founded in 1902. It has provided spiritual support and guidance throughout the Puna community for more than 100 years. The present temple was built in 1937 and the columbarium in 1963.

Saturday, 8/25 - 8:00 p.m.
