Vancouver, British Columbia
Canada

2016 marks the hundredth anniversary of Japanese Canadian soldiers enlisting in Alberta to serve their adopted country in the First World War. Many of these soldiers were buried in Mountain View Cemetery, along with other pioneers of the Japanese Canadian community in Vancouver. This historical walking tour will feature the graves of prominent community members, including veterans, and highlight their achievements and contributions to society.

Presented with the support of the Government of Canada – Canadian Heritage.

Tours are approximately 90 minutes. Meet at the Chinese Pavillion, south of the 33rd Avenue entrance near Fraser St.

NNMCC members $8 + tax | non-members $10 + tax. Space is limited. Please reserve your spot in advance.
