Talk by Kate Le Souef

Marine Debris Creating Human Connections Across the Pacific

Admission: Free

Kate Le Souef is the tsunami debris cleanup coordinator with the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, a joint conservation initiative of the Vancouver Aquarium and WWF. Since June, Kate has been coordinating cleanups of shorelines on Vancouver Island that have been affected by debris from the 2011 Japanese tsunami. This presentation will include an update of cleanup efforts in BC, as well as a summary of Kate’s trip to Japan in 2014.
