New York Chamber Music Festival presents works for violin and piano, composed by women and performed by women. Violinist Elmira Darvarova (first woman-concertmaster in the history of the Metropolitan Opera) and pianist Tomoko Kanamaru , interpret gems by Clara Schumann, Lera Auerbach, Amy Beach, Lili Boulanger, Rebecca Clarke, Yui Kitamura, Sylvie Bodorova (American premiere) and Dobrinka Tabakova (American premiere).
