8: A Symposium: Voices from The Asian American Literary Review

A day-long celebration of eight of today’s most accomplished and exciting Asian American writers.  Come to any or all of the readings by Karen Tei Yamashita and Sonya Chung, Kyoko Mori and April Naoko Heck, Ed Lin and Srikanth Reddy, and Peter Bacho and Ru Freeman;  stay for the Q&A sessions immediately after each reading, and don’t forget to get your books signed by the authors.

As a part of Maryland Day 2010, sponsored by the University of Maryland, College Park, the Symposium will be held on April 24th, 2010, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Ulrich Recital Hall, Tawes Hall.  Free to the public.
