  workshop. \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nMinimum 10 participants. Maximum 20 participants
 . &nbsp\;\n\nAges 15 and older.&nbsp\; \n\n&nbsp\;Join Japan America Socie
 ty of Chicago members and guests for an exclusive <em>taiko </em>(Japanese
  drum) workshop with Amy Homma\, Head Instructor and Tatsu Aoki\, Artistic
  Director of Tsukasa Taiko. Workshop will include a taiko demonstration an
 d lecture presentation on Japanese history\, music and culture. Participan
 ts will have an opportunity to learn basic drumming beats and techniques a
 nd will be able to perform a short piece at the end of the session. \n\n&n
