A loss of such significanc e takes its toll both mentally and physically – a roller coaster of emot ions that may feel overwhelming and even frightening at times. Adult chil dren are often left wondering how they can heal from such a devastating lo ss compounded by the worry about the well-being and longevity of the survi ving parent.\n \nThis seminar\, presented by The Family Institute at North western University\, will address the sensitive topic by exploring loss an d the process of grieving and healing. Michele Wolff will discuss how you can travel the journey of mourning while still honoring the memory of you r parent and balancing other life demands. She also will discuss practica l techniques to help a surviving parent re-engage in life. This seminar w ill highlight how you can draw upon family\, personal and spiritual resour ces during the bereavement process.
